Pesto Pasta Perfection


  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves (from your Stack & Sprout)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves for garnish (from your Stack & Sprout)


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a food processor, combine fresh basil, grown from your Stack and Sprout, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.

  3. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until a smooth pesto sauce forms. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until well coated.

  5. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves grown from your Stack & Sprout vertical garden.
